Instructions for use

Technical information

  • Base: MS polymers
  • Density: ± 1380 kg/m³
  • Consistency: Pasty
  • Solvents: No solvents
  • Hardness: ± 55 (Shore A)
  • Tensile strength: ± 2,60 N/mm² (according to DIN 53504)
  • Elongation at break (%): ± 400% (according to DIN 53504)
  • Modulus: ± 1,5 N/mm² (according to DIN 53504)
  • Shear strength: 1,70 N/mm² (according to DIN 53283)
  • Elastic recovery: ± 80%
  • Temperature resistance: -40°C to +90°C
  • UV resistance: Good. Slight change in colour may appear.
  • Water resistance: Good
  • Slump resistance (stability): Good
  • Tests: EMICODE EC1 Plus certified (licence number 12203/13.04.18)
  • Application conditions: +5°C to +35°C
  • Type of surface: Metals, many plastics, aluminium, rubber (test beforehand), wood, HPL panels, concrete, (natural) stone, mirrors, glass (always apply a suitable UV primer when gluing such as Innotec Glass - Body Primer) (not suitable for glazing)
  • Surface preparation: The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Clean surfaces with Innotec Multisol or Innotec Seal and Bond Remover. Clean plastic surfaces with Innotec Repaplast Cleaner Antistatic. Plastic, porous or extremely difficult surfaces must be pre-treated with Innotec Repaplast Primer or Innotec Seal Guard.
  • Application method: Apply directly from the cartridge using a glue gun (Pro 2000 Gun, Easy Grip Gun or Air Sealant Applicator 300). When gluing, join the parts together within 10 minutes. If necessary smooth with Innotec Seal Fluid.
  • Skin formation: ± 10 minutes (at 23°C / 50% relative humidity)
  • Tack free: ± 4 hours (at 23°C / 50% relative humidity)
  • Curing time: ± 3 mm in 24 hours (at 23°C / 50% relative humidity)
  • Minimum joint width: Industry: minimum joint width ± 5 mm
If the joint is deeper than the maximum permissible processing depth in relation to the joint width, Innotec Back Fill Foam is used to fill the joint.

    D (joint depth) = [ B (joint width) / 3 ] + 6 mm

    General guidelines:
Relation joint width : joint depth
    Joint width ≤ 10 mm = 1:1
Minimum joint width = 5 mm

    Joint depth > 10 mm = 2:1
Minimum joint depth = 10 mm

Automotive: minimum adhesive layer thickness ± 2 mm
  • Maximum admissible deformation: 25%
  • Paintability: Suitable for almost all modern water-based and 2K paint systems. If you want to paint over after 4 hours, apply a plastic primer first (Innotec Repaplast Primer). Due to the huge variety of paint types on the market, it is advisable to test the paint beforehand.
Automotive: For applications where Adheseal should regularly absorb movement, always add plasticizer to 2K paints (see instructions of the paint supplier).
  • Cleaning of materials used: With Innotec Multisol
  • Cleaning of hands: With Innotec Power Scrubs or with Innotec Safe Hand Clean Plus and water
  • Shelf life: 1 year in original, unopened packaging
  • Storage conditions: Store cool and dry
  • Type of batchcode: F
  • Other details: With a constant water pressure, a percentage tin catalyst will be set free.
    OEM approved
  • CE Certification: Industry: Innotec Adheseal is a product with CE mark in accordance with Regulation (EU) 305/2011. The corresponding Declaration of Performance (DoP no 0124230000) can be downloaded from our website.
