Back Fill Foam 10 mm

Description

Back Fill Foam is a round cord of high-grade filling foam with a closed cell structure. It is indispensable when professionally sealing extremely deep building seams and seams where there is a risk of a three-point adhesion.

Back Fill Foam is used to fill too deep joints, thus making sure that the depth of the sealant joint meets the technical specifications. Besides, Back Fill Foam is also used as a base layer for seams and joints to prevent three-point adhesion. It ensures that the sealant does not adhere to the bottom because that will inevitably lead to cracks in the sealant.

Back Fill Foam is also part of the Innotec joint and sealant system.

Instructions for use

• Surface preparation: Remove any loose parts and make sure that the surface is free of dust.
• Application method: When working, follow the technical instructions for the sealant type to be used. Choose the required  thickness and length of the foam. Clean the joint and treat with an adhesion primer if necessary. Press the foam into the joint using a spatula or similar tool. The joint can now be sealed.
