Timber Construct 2-Component Mounting Adhesive

Description

Timber Construct is a fast and extremely powerful 2-component mounting adhesive for almost all types of wood.

Timber Construct is non-effervescent, waterproof, can be cut, milled, sanded and painted over and has a good filling capacity, which is a big plus for custom work. Thanks to the gel structure and good stability, Timber Construct is also perfectly suited for vertical bonding. Due to the fast drying time, the assembled work only needs to be clamped or supported for a short time.
All these properties make Timber Construct particularly suitable for structural bonding and all types of assembly work in the wood industry.

Timber Construct is easy to use and can be dosed very accurately thanks to the handy dual cartridge and the use of the Mixer Gun. The special mixer nozzle ensures the right mixture at all times. By not removing it after use, but only replacing it at the next use, hardening of the remaining product in the cartridge can be prevented. This means that an opened cartridge can still be used for a long time.

Instructions for use

• Surface preparation: The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. The best result is achieved when the surface is sanded/roughened. ATTENTION: degrease oily types of wood with Innotec Repaplast Cleaner Antistatic.
• Application method: Fix the mixer nozzle to the twin cartridge. When using a new cartridge, always squeeze out the first 2 centimetres of product and dis¬card it, this to allow Timber Construct to mix properly. Do not remove the mixer nozzle after use; only replace it the next time you want to use the product, in order to prevent residual product from hardening in the cartridge. Gather the parts to be glued and roughen or sand the contact surfaces. Clean the parts using Innotec Repaplast Cleaner Antistatic. Apply Timber Construct onto the surface using the mixer nozzle and join the parts to be glued together. Clamp or support the connection for 30 minutes until Timber Construct has built up sufficient strength.
• Paintability: After 1 hour, optimally with Innotec ISO PRIM as a base layer (20°C / 50% relative humidity)
